The nearest metro stop to Tivoli Gardens is Rådhuspladsen Station (Cityringen M3 line), just a 5-minute walk from the main entrance. Alternatively, you can get off at København H (Central Station), which is also served by metro and puts you right across the street from the park.
Copenhagen Central Station (Københavns Hovedbanegård) is located directly next to Tivoli Gardens. It’s served by regional, intercity, and S-trains, making it the most convenient option if you're arriving from other parts of Denmark or from the airport.
Several city bus lines stop within a short walk of Tivoli, including lines 2A, 5C, and 250S. Buses generally stop along Vesterbrogade or at the Central Station, both of which are steps from the park entrance.
Copenhagen is a bike-friendly city, and Tivoli is easily reachable by bike from most central areas. There are bike lanes throughout the city and bike racks near the park entrance where you can safely park your bicycle.
The easiest way from Copenhagen Airport is by train to Central Station, which takes about 15 minutes. Alternatively, the metro (M2 line) connects the airport to the city, with a transfer to the M3 line if you’re heading to Rådhuspladsen.
